Jennifer Berman

Jennifer has worked in a variety of settings over the past 25 years as a community organizer, philanthropic advisor and leader, and systems change trainer. She is passionate about bringing people together to imagine & create new possibilities, build new competencies, and discover what is possible when living and leading from a place of whole-heartedness. She is an experienced facilitator with applied experience in large multi-stakeholder projects focusing on renewable energy, health, and education. She is a certified 4D Transformational leadership coach, a Zen practitioner, and lover of snow, mountains, and good poetry. Jennifer is the lead coach for the Starling Collective, and co-designs and co-delivers our training programs.

Lisa Gibson

Lisa is a transformative facilitator, coach, educator and systems change consultant devoted to human development and collective liberation. She is passionate about creating transformative spaces that help to restore our connection with ourselves, each other and the earth. She has worked with diverse clients on a range of issues, from leadership development to multi-stakeholder processes in Canada, Nepal and Nigeria. Lisa is a faculty member for a number of leadership, systems change and mindfulness programs, including at Simon Fraser University, the Two Arrows Academy, and the School of Systems Change. Lisa leads the Starling Collective’s mindfulness workshops and co-facilitates our learning journeys.

Jessica Conrad

Jessica has been working at the frontiers of positive change as a researcher and writer, storyteller, program manager, and curriculum designer. She brings extensive experience designing and delivering strategic initiatives and transformative learning opportunities—including graduate-level courses focused on systems and complexity theory and leadership. Strengths include relationship building, chaos wrangling, data-driven iteration, execution under pressure, and forward-thinking spirit. Jessica believes tending to the ways we show up in relationship with ourselves, others, and the wider world is critical for personal growth and social change. She strives to center equity in all that she does. Jessica leads the Starling Collective’s storytelling workshops.
