Our approach

We believe that in order to successfully address any of the multiple, intersecting crises facing us today – climate change, increased political polarization, continued racial inequality, just to name a few – we must collectively increase our capacity to navigate complexity and uncertainty.

This requires shifting the mindsets that keep us stuck in simple stories, building skill in navigating divergent and conflicting worldviews, and applying frameworks and tools that can catalyze transformative change.

To this end, we offer transformative programming that supports people and organizations to up-level their skills in three critical and inter-related domains: the personal, interpersonal and systemic.

Our offerings combine learning and wisdom from systems, complexity, and adult development theory with elements of Zen practice to support fluency in three critical domains: the personal, interpersonal, and systemic.

Personal - We believe that increased self-awareness and coherence between purpose, values, and ways of being correlate with one’s ability to affect positive change in the world. Our curriculum empowers people to act from a deeper awareness of their core values, and to better understand how their behavior, identity, and power influences those around them.

Interpersonal – In these increasingly polarized and fractured times, one of our most valuable assets is our capacity to relate to one other. This requires valuing multiple perspectives, working with and facilitating group dynamics, and engaging productively with conflict.

Systemic – We know that systemic change requires whole paradigms to shift. We use a complexity frame and systemic tools to better see and transform the less visible mindsets and structures currently preventing us from bringing a brighter future for people and planet into being.
